Rev. R. Ranjit Suthir hails from Nagercoil, a small town situated at the southernmost tip of Peninsular India. He belongs to a traditional and well-known Christian family which is much acquainted with Church activities. He was born on 9 July, 1979 and had his kindergarten and primary education at Salvation Army Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Nagercoil. He went to Scott Christian Higher Secondary School to pursue his high school and higher secondary education. He stepped into the portals of Scott Christian College to do his undergraduate course in English Literature where he actively participated in all Christian activities. He later dedicated his life to serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and chose to start his ministry as a church worker in November 1999. After serving in that position for a brief period, he went to Serampore College, Kolkata to pursue his education in theology which he completed in the year 2004. After completing his Bachelor of Divinity (BD), he again started to serve in a church but within a short span of time he went to FFRRC, Kottayam, Kerala to pursue his Master of Theology (M.Th.) in Old Testament which he completed in 2008. He was ordained as a full-fledged Minister in May 2011. A committed servant of God who continues to minister to Him, he is happily married to Angelin Sheeba and is blessed with an energetic son Mark Benito Suthir.
